Delete your Healthbooq account

This page explains how to delete your Healthbooq Baby account, what deleting it removes, and what we keep. You can start in the app, or ask us by email if you cannot open it. Healthbooq Baby is made by Innolope LLC.

Before you start: cancel your subscription

Deleting your account does not cancel a Healthbooq Baby subscription. Apple and Google handle the billing, so a subscription keeps renewing until you cancel it in the store you bought it from:

  • iPhone or iPad: open Settings, tap your name, then tap Subscriptions.
  • Android: open the Google Play Store app, tap your profile picture, then tap Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions.

Delete your account in the app

  1. Open Healthbooq Baby and sign in to the account you want to delete.
  2. Tap Profile in the tab bar.
  3. Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Account.
  4. Tap Delete to confirm.

Once the account is deleted, the app signs you out. This cannot be undone. Deleting in the app removes everything listed under “Ask us to delete it by email” straight away, and takes your email address off our mailing list. If you were the primary parent of a baby profile another parent shares, the parent who joined it first becomes its primary parent.

Ask us to delete it by email

Email [email protected] from the email address you use for Healthbooq, with the subject “Delete my Healthbooq account”. You do not need the app for this. Sending it from that address is how we know the request comes from you. If you no longer have access to that address, say so in your email and we will ask for other details that show the account is yours.

We delete the following and confirm by email once it is done, within 30 days of your request:

  • Your account and sign-in, with your name, email address, and the rest of your profile and settings.
  • Baby profiles no other parent has access to, with everything in them: name, date of birth and photo, growth measurements, milestones, vaccinations, appointments, and health and medical notes.
  • Diary entries you wrote.
  • Your conversations with the in-app assistant.
  • Your activity in the app, such as onboarding answers, daily quests and rewards.
  • Your access to other families' baby profiles, and invitations you sent or received that have not been accepted.

If another parent also has access to one of your baby profiles, we remove you from it but do not delete it: the profile and the logs in it stay available to the other parent.

What we keep

  • Purchase records. If you subscribed, Apple or Google processed the payment and keeps its own record of the purchase under its own policies; we cannot delete those records. RevenueCat, the service that tells the app which plan you have, keeps the purchase history it received from the store, stored under a random account ID rather than your name or email address. If you paid us directly, we keep each order's number, amount and status for our accounts, without your name or contact details.
  • Usage statistics and crash reports. The app records these under a random account ID rather than your name or email address. If you want them deleted, say so in your email.
  • Your emails to us. If you contact us, including to ask for deletion, we keep that correspondence as a record of what you asked and what we did.

When we delete an account, we keep nothing else from it, except where the law requires us to. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information while you have an account.
